Wednesday, October 2, 2019, Academy held its annual Spike and Splash event. The JV and Varsity Volleyball teams versed Berkeley Prep while the swim and dive team competed against Plant Highschool to raise money for the fight against Breast and Pediatric Cancer. The Academy students came together in a sea of pink to make a lively student section and show support for the swim, dive, and volleyball teams. Although the event is high in spirit and competition, many of our Academy sisters compete, play, and attend the event in honor of a person who they may have lost to Pediatric/Breast Cancer or who is currently in the battle against it. At the end of the night, in total, the event raised $20,000 all for donation.
