He wants to heal you, you just have to ask.
We were going through the readings for Mass this upcoming Sunday in our school Bible Study, and this message was laced throughout.
He wants to do that for you. He wants to heal your leprosy, whether you are struggling physically, mentally, or spiritually. Maybe it’s your past that comes back to haunt you. He is here to forgive and heal.
Then, you will be given the strength to “Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31-11:1).
St. Paul gives us the instruction manual in his different epistles, his letters to different people that are in the Bible. Pretty much all of his work is what I call his “Here’s what you do. Have fun. See you in heaven!” These instructions he gave are exactly what Jesus wants us to do. We all go through hardships, and we still need to stick with God.
Jesus does not want you to fail the tests. Jesus is not the DMV. He is not trying to make you fail, like the DMV permit exam. He is going to help you along the way, you just have to let Him. You have to allow Him in, even though He is more powerful than that and has been helping you in so many ways you have yet to realize. He wants you to talk to Him and ask Him for help.
You can always ask Him for help no matter where you are, but do you know a great place to have some quiet with Him and talk to Him? The school chapel! Yes, I am talking about it yet again because He is just that powerful. It is that door right at the end of the heritage hall. And I know for a fact that the Eucharist, which is right inside of the tabernacle, is really Jesus’ Body and Blood. It is so beautiful that He gave Himself to us in this way. He is there, waiting for you. Go see Him.
