Armature Works Sparks Excitement in the AHN community

Armature Works is a fully restored multipurpose building in the historic Tampa Heights neighborhood. It was created for people in the Tampa area enjoy diverse foods, open air, and fun music.

Jaed Seymour (‘18) says, “My mom absolutely loved it! She said the place was alive and everyone seemed to be having a blast! She also said a lot was going on and it was just overall a great experience.”

Armature works has a variety of restaurants, such as Swami juice or ice cream. Restaurants are scattered throughout the building and set up as a market. Customers order and take their food to either outside or inside seating areas. Also, there is a wide variety of cultures represented in the food, such as Asian, Hispanic, and American.

Gillian Garcia (‘18) says, “I liked that there was a wide variety of cultures and foods. I had a burger and it was so good.”

Armature Works also hosts events such as anniversaries, weddings, birthdays, and much more. Their large ballroom features wooden floors, natural lighting, and chandeliers, which makes for a great rustic venue right on the river. There is also a courtyard in the center of the building which has open-air for events with an outdoor feel.
