Kairos III brings Academy students closer to their faith

January 14, 2022

Leaders and students from the Academy departed for DaySprings on January 7, 2022 for the third annual Kairos retreat. This year, the Kairos retreat welcomed juniors and seniors to spend the weekend at DaySprings to dive deeper into their faith and develop a community where comfortable conversations could be shared. After having to stay on campus last year due to the pandemic, leaders were excited to be able to experience Kairos away from school grounds. Sofia Curry, Freshman Religion Teacher, explained that, “This year’s Kairos allowed the juniors and seniors to dive deep into a sense of real, authentic community. Our ability to go off campus safely allowed us to truly unplug from our daily lives and spend time reflecting on our relationships with each other and with God. It was such a fun, life-changing weekend.”
