10 Feelings While On a Cruise Ship
December 6, 2016
With the convenience of being all inclusive, cruise ships provide a perfect opportunity to try new things like going scuba diving in St. Maarten to participating in extreme mini-golf to eating frog legs at dinner. Here are many stages a common “cruiser” goes through while on a cruise ship
Entering the ship after security
Touring the ship
Realizing there’s free food 24/7
Realizing there’s no free wi-fi
Seeing a cute boy
Then realizing they’re 12
Junior Emily Anderson said, “I can totally relate. One time I thought a guy on my ship was cute, then when I talked to him and realized he was a freshman.”
Going to an exotic Caribbean island
Making friends with the locals
Getting dressed for dinner
Realizing you have to go back to reality
Senior Katie Hale who went on a Disney Cruise over Thanksgiving break said, “For a whole week, I didn’t have to worry about school or softball. It was purely my time to relax and enjoy my families’ company and catch my breath. Going back to reality seems like I’m jumping back in head first. For the first day or so I felt completely out of it because I was so used to being relaxed and not having a million things to do. It can be a bit overwhelming.”
