From skincare to haircare to makeup, the popular cosmetics store Sephora is the perfect place to spend every last penny in one’s wallet. Due to the costly high-end products that Sephora carries, it becomes quite easy for anyone to spend all their money on just a few items. Recently, Sephora announced that they will begin selling ColourPop, a very popular online makeup brand with an affordable price range.

ColourPop is a online-cosmetic brand founded by Seed Beauty in Los Angeles in 2014. The three year old brand has gained a massive following due to all of their low-cost products, such as their $6 liquid matte lipsticks and $8 highlighters. Users can expect the same bargain prices in the Sephora stores.
Until now, ColourPop was only available online. This made it difficult for many consumers to guess their shades from just a picture on a screen.
Sephora announced that they will be stocking their shelves with ColourPop cosmetics this month. Many makeup lovers are highly anticipating the arrival of the high-quality makeup products with drugstore brand prices.
Gloria Bufano (‘19) said, “At Sephora I always end up spending way too much money, so I’m excited to be able to go to Sephora and only pay a small amount of money for a lot of products. I’m also excited to not have to worry about paying for shipping any more.”
One of ColourPop’s cult classic shades of their Ulta Matte Liquid Lipsticks in the shade “Clueless”. The reason this shade has gained so much popularity is its significant resemblance to the popular Kylie Lip Kit in the shade “Candy K”. With ColourPop’s liquid mattes only costing $6 and Kylie’s costing around $30, there’s no doubt behind the extreme hype of this product.
