Tampa Gains New Restaurants and More as the City Expands

As Tampa climbs the charts becoming one of the most desirable locations to live in the United States, a plethora of new businesses, restaurants, and activities have been popping up everywhere. The desirable location that is the greater Tampa Bay area has attracted many new establishments to launch, and, in return gives residents a new lineup of places to try and things to do on the weekends. Centralizing a list of these new locations has become a necessity in order to experience all of the growth in the city, so here are some of the most popular new launches in Tampa.
Bouzy is a brand-new champagne bar established by the well-regarded owner of Cru Cellars. The menu includes an extensive list of spirits followed by a full caviar list. Their plates and entrees include dishes that bring a modern twist to classic meals, creating a delectable menu for all guests. The seafood-centric dishes emit an amazing aroma that consumes Hyde Park, establishing it as a must-try for everyone in Tampa.

Sweet Green is a greens and grain bowl franchised restaurant that was started in Washington D.C. in 2007 and has since become a favorite of many across the country. Tampa has begun the process of integrating three new locations across the city. Across from Armature works sits the newly opened restaurant, which holds a perfectly formulated menu of pre-curated bowls in addition to the option to build your own. This highly desirable new location is often spotted with long lines that people regard as “worth it”. Two more locations are opening soon in the Hyde Park and Water Street areas. This new spot is the perfect place to grab a satisfying and quick bite to eat in a clean and green environment.
The new Lucky Tigre location on South Howard began as a pop up and is situated as a walk-up counter. The beautiful mural on the exterior of the otherwise quaint location attracts many Tampa consumers. Lucky Tigre is modeled loosely off of sari sari stores which also correlates to their menu deriving from the Filipino-American experience. Their evolving presentation of food is detailed with drinks, snacks, and delicious shareables that are unique to the Tampa restaurant landscape. Their nuanced take to authentic cuisine in addition to the aesthetics of their storefront has made their launch raved about throughout the Bay area.

Located directly on south Dale Mabry sits the new District South restaurant, which serves Lunch, Bruch, and Dinner. The extensive list of libations paired with standard dishes done with a flair have attracted the attention of many Tampa natives. Their comfy environment creates a culture of great conversation over excellent food.

The Tampa Edition is a luxury dining and hotel experience, and its picturesque lobby and pool deck have taken over the Instagram feeds of all in Tampa. The Tampa Edition has a methodically crafted menu modeled after the city’s 17th century history while interluding spirits of the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico. The downtown location makes their premiere dining and spirits selection at the higher priced side, but it is arguably worth the capital for the beauty within the building itself alone. The Tampa Edition has dining experiences including; in the lobby, Punch Room, Arts Club, Market at Edition, Azure, Lilac, and the Pool Bar. Although new to the Bay area scene, the Tampa Edition has already become a trademark of the city and a must try for established residents.
