Garden Peppers

In regards to her work, she writes, “I chose to paint red bell peppers because I’ve never used food as the subject of my art, so I thought I  would give it a try. I decided to use different hues and shades of red because the color represents boldness and catches the attention of peoples’ eyes. While painting, I was skeptical of how they would turn out because the shading was crucial, but I’m happy with the final result.”
