2D Art Honors finishes the school year with project

May 25, 2022

As the 2021-2022 school year comes to a close, 2D Art Honors students work on completing their final project. The project is within their Unit 7 explorations: a study on foreshortened and exaggerated object figures. Foreshortening is a technique used in perspective to produce the illusion of an object receding into the distance. The students’ assignment is to design a composition that emphasizes the subject from a foreshortened or exaggerated point of view. Additionally, students were instructed to explore color intensity in their work – either choosing a black and white, monochromatic, or tricolor color scheme to display. The finished artwork of the talented artists will be on display this summer for anyone to enjoy!
