Sometimes people focus their time on the mainstream apps like Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, etc and don’t realize how many useful apps there are on the app store. Some of these can help our daily lives by relieving stress and making everything easier in different aspects of our life.

My Fitness Pal

My Fitness Pal is an app to track diets and determine your calorie intake, which helps people balance meals to help get in shape and also has meal ideas and ways to exercise to achieve your goals faster.

Cacciatore says, “My favorite part of the app is reading the different meals I can be making for myself instead of eating out.”

 Waze

The app knows how fast users are traveling on the road and redirects around any kind of traffic that  might be ahead. It also alerts any construction, accidents, cameras, and even if there are police officers on the road.

Senior Marykate Urbanski says, “Waze has helped me get to events on time and redirects me around any kind of traffic.”

Uber/ Uber Eats

Uber is an app which is very convenient when you need a ride and can provide that in minutes. Uber Eats is also convenient when you don’t feel like driving to pick up food, but would rather have it delivered right to your front door. Depending on where you live, the restaurants could be very limited but also could have a lot of options.

Google trips

Google trips makes it very easy to plan and organize your trips. It gives you options by mapping out full days or half days based on your interests or location of your trip.You can also have all your travel information on the app by having the reservations and confirmations already programmed in.

Evernote

Evernote is a virtual notebook where you can create notes, save images and articles from the web, upload your textbooks, and store audio files.

Instapaper/Pocket

Instapaper/Pocket allows people to save web content so it can be “read later” on a different device. It helps organize various articles and gives you the ability to tag them and put them into different folders.

Prisma

Prisma is a photo filter app that is unlike any other. It consists of different detailed filters which mimick famous artists to create unique pictures.
