Heads Up For Outrageously Optimistic Signage

It’s customary for classrooms to feature motivational posters with pretty backgrounds to brighten up the space. However, have you ever actually taken the time to read them? Let’s look at a few, shall we?

  1. **Imagine taking a test and looking up to see this** Perhaps this doesn’t quite fit in a classroom, but you’re surrounded by you’re sisters so at least it reminds you of that!

2. Hey, it may be brutal, but at least it’s honest.

3.  Did Mrs. Z get this off Pinterest, or did Pinterest get the idea from her? Probably the latter. Either way, this one really stings a bit when you’re watching the minutes pass till the end of class and you realize you’re not really paying attention.

4. You know, this one just screams FAILURE. Maybe a scare tactic, but I’m sure it works for some people.

5.  The first point may be pretty generic, but the second is a reality check. Mrs. Z knows exactly what to say to make you feel bad about not paying attention in class.

6.  Now this seems to be an especially strong message. Not only does it rhyme, but it’s a direct quote from Martin Luther King, Jr.

7. Honestly the color, the quote- this one has it all! Five stars for reminding students not to give up.

Nothing shouts "optimism" like rainbow colors and a huge star.

8. When you really need a pick-me-up, look at the cross that is in EVERY classroom. This is going to help you the most in the long run!

Take the beginning of class to really participate in prayer. This will lower your stress and clear your mind for the next set

While many of us ignore these signs throughout the day, it might be a good idea to look at a few. If you can’t really appreciate the message, you can get a good laugh out of it.
