Mission Week: Time in Texas

For the year 2023, twelve students and two teachers embarked on a spiritual and educational journey to San Juan, Texas to serve with ARISE on the topic of immigration. Seniors: Regina Alfonso, Isabel Bequer, Kimberly Egoavil, Aspen Hunter, Mykhia Pursley, Ximena Sanchez, Becca Sayad, and Nyonyose Varmah; Juniors: Samantha Cogburn and Kayla Parsons; Sophomore: Rowan Alexander; And teachers: Robert Quinn and Reina Borjas are showcased in this gallery with other volunteers/organizers working with different pillars of immigration.
Groggy and tired from the early flight, our Texas group finally arrives at Harlingen, Texas Airport! Taking our first photo we split into two groups in our rental vans and drove an hour to our hotel at the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan.
