Concerts are very popular and frequently talked about here at AHN, especially since we are right near music venues like the Tampa Amphitheater, Yuengling Center, and the Benchmark International Arena.
Students will even travel across the state to see their favorite artist. From concerts here at the heart of Tampa Bay to Las Vegas and Texas; the Academy girls are dedicated to the singers they love.

Fiona Kaley (‘26) enjoys going to concerts with her family and friends. This summer she traveled all the way to Texas to see Noah Kahan in concert.
She said, “I loved the Noah Kahan Concert! It was an absolute blast, He was so chill but very funny, a rare combination. I was really not sure what the vibe was for outfits but ended up going with country-esqe and it was spot on! Being in a smaller venue was so wonderful, and added to that feeling of being part of something that you get at concerts.”
Student, Katelyn Papy (‘27), traveled two years ago to Las Vegas with three of her close friends and their moms to see Bruno Mars. She had grown up listening to his music so it was a surreal experience to finally hear them in real life. She still reflects on this concert and wishes to go back every day.
She said, “He is an awesome performer, as he is able to sing, dance, play multiple instruments, and interact with his audience!”
Overall concerts are a way to connect with different people. Senior Sara-Beth Grande elaborated on what concerts mean to her.

She said, “Concerts give everyone a way to come together and all enjoy the same thing. I love getting ready with my friends and putting on cute outfits. Concerts are one of my favorite things because not only do I get to listen to my favorite music but I get to hear it live!
