Civil Inattention

Junior Staff Writer Sophia Garcia (’22) publishes her second Achona cartoon. This cartoon shows an example of civil inattention, the process of giving others a sense of privacy while in public. The cartoon is dramatized, but civil inattention demonstrates a mutual politeness and respect between two strangers even if it is for a few seconds.
