Opening night for Academy’s production of Grease proved that a combination of talent and teamwork is the key to excellence in execution. Playing to a record crowd in Brady Center Friday night, the cast and crew pulled off an entertaining evening of acting , song and dance. Performances continued on Saturday evening, October 25, at 7 pm, and Sunday afternoon at 3 pm.
The success of this well-choreographed musical did not come by chance. Each afternoon after the bell, a seasoned and dedicated troupe of actors, singers and stage crew headed toward the Brady Center to rehearse for the upcoming fall musical scheduled for October 21-23.
Equally seasoned and dedicated, Ms. Stephanie Rotolo, drama and dance teacher, along with Ms. Linda Ruescher, music coordinator, work together each practice to coordinate music, dance and lines in the script.
