Awolnation and Excision are two bands worth waiting for their return to Tampa Bay

Concerts come and go, but a few remain to tell the story of that day. Two concerts come to mind with the help of Alina Ossi, who attended Awolnation and Excison events held here in the Tampa Bay area during March.

Awolnation generously indulged the audience who entered the Ritz stage in Ybor on March 3. Holding the top spot on charts of alternative bands, they have remained at the top with their hit song “Sail.”

Ossi contends that this concert is a must for music fans when it returns to the Bay.  “Never in my life have I seen so many people so excited. We had crowd surfers, mosh pits and people on shoulders.  Everyone sang and danced along to everything. My experience at this concert was amazing!”

People lined up at the doors at 3 in the afternoon for the Excision concert on March 9, which did not start until 9 pm. By the time the doors opened at 8 pm, ” “People were fretting about not being able to get in.”

Alina said her strategy paid off.   “I was one of the first people in line, and when I got in, I shot straight to the front of the stage and was right in the middle at the gate.”

“ This is an artist who helps you let loose and feel free to just be yourself. When Excision comes to town next, don’t forget to grab your tickets, they sell out fast, plus get there early to grab your spot.”
