Ashley Tisdale weds becomes Mrs. Ashley French
As some of you may now now, former High School Musical star, Ashley Tisdale (now Mrs. French), tied the knot on Monday, September 8. While most of us are familiar with Tisdale in HSM, Picture This, and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, not many know much about Mr. Christopher French
Tisdale’s new husband is best known as the founder and lead singer for the alternative rock band, Annie Automatic. He has been jamming since the age of 11 and hasn’t stopped since. In fact, he has even assisted Tisdale in her recent production Young and Hungry on ABC Family. The two met through mutual friends and started dating in December of 2013. They soon got engaged later that year in August when French proposed to her atop the Empire State Building on the 103rd floor.
As oppose to Kim and Kanye’s wedding that received buzz from the media for weeks, the couple was successful in keeping their wedding a secret. With only 100 people on the guest list, according to Radar Online, everyone was shuttled to the venue from a secret location and their cell phones and electronics were taken by security. Continuing the trend of smaller wedding ceremonies after Brad and Angelina’s wedding, Mr. and Mrs. French celebrated their special day surrounded by close friends and family.
To name some stars seen attending their wedding at Villa Sevillano near Santa Barbara were the Sprouse twins, Shenae Grimes, and Vanessa Hudgens serving as a bridesmaid. Lisa Vorce, their wedding planner, described the wedding to be “romantic and rustic.” The reception featured peach, white, and maroon roses in vases on wooden tables and chairs with white tablecloths draped on top. The bride, 29, was styled in a beautiful cap sleeve ballgown dress by Monique Lhuillier with a flower crown. Mr. French, on the other hand, worked a snazzy black and white John Varvatos tux. Congratulations to the newlywed couple!
