Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet Tour” has been in locations across the country including Orlando on October 24, 2024. During this tour, Carpenter has been performing songs from her most recent “Short n’ Sweet” album, featuring her most popular songs including, “Espresso,” “Please Please Please” and “Taste.”

The “Short n’ Sweet Tour” officially first began on September 23, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio, and will end on March 26, 2025, in Milan, Italy. For Carpenter, her “Short n’ Sweet Tour” is significant because it is her first ever arena tour.

Senior Eleanor Kelly (’25) said, “The Short n’ Sweet tour was so much fun. I’ve been listening to Sabrina for a long time and it was so amazing to finally see her during a concert. The sets and themes of the performances were also so cool.”

Recently, Carpenter’s Orlando concert was sold out with an audience over 17,000 people. The concert began with a short animation of the singer entering an elevator. Then, Griff, an English singer and songwriter, opened for Carpenter, singing some of her most notable songs including, “Vertigo.”

After the opening act, Carpenter appeared on stage revealing a sparkly, blue bodysuit. Later, she transitioned into a sparkly, yellow bodysuit. The background of her stage was a white, vintage house with stairs and windows. Carpenter also performed on top of a heart-shaped bed or stage during a few of her songs. She even sang “Sharpest Tool” on top of a toilet.

Sophomore Savannah Aschenbrenner (’27), who attended the Orlando “Short n’ Sweet Tour” said, “As my first concert, I would say it was definitely a very memorable experience. The visuals were displayed like television cartoons [from the 1950’s or ’60s]. My favorite performance was “Good Graces.” I liked the dance routine and the staging very much.”

During each of her concerts, Carpenter decided to spin a bottle live on stage in order to determine a miscellaneous song from another artist that she would perform. Some songs in her rotations were sung by artists including Dolly Parton, Sixpence None the Richer, and Madonna. During her Orlando concert, Carpenter’s bottle landed on “Mamma Mia” by ABBA.
