Sabrina Carpenter released her new album “Man’s Best Friend” on August 29, 2025. This is a solo album with no guest features and includes 12 tracks. The album contains a variety of songs ranging from slow to upbeat and from happy to sad. This is Carpenter’s seventh studio album and the only music she has publicly released in 2025.

Carpenter spiked in popularity with her album “Short and Sweet” which was released August 23, 2024. Since then she has been gaining traction and climbing the charts. Her new songs have found their way on many Academy girls’ playlists and have been on repeat since its release. Carpenter’s songs have an unserious tone, making her music fun to listen to.

“I love Sabrina Carpenter’s new album. It’s catchy and so fun to listen to. It’s on repeat for me right now,” said Jayce Insolia (27’).

Whether in the car or in headphones, Carpenter’s songs are streamed by many all throughout the day. Out of Carpenter’s top songs on Spotify eight of ten are from her newest album, with number one being “Manchild” with 371,497,438 streams. Other honorable mentions are “Nobody’s Son” at five and “My Man on Willpower” at six.

Her songs, with their light hearted lyrics and playful tone, are on repeat for many in and out of Academy. They are catchy and get stuck in your head, contributing to her many streams. According to Billboard Carpenter’s song “Manchild” reached number one on the top 100 on June 16, 2025. The single was released June 5, 2025, meaning her single reached the top 100 11 days after its original release.

While Carpenter hasn’t announced a tour dedicated to “Man’s Best Friend” it is highly anticipated by listeners. Her “Short and Sweet” tour was popular among Academy girls and was enjoyed by many. Her new album is building excitement within her fans and has them waiting for her next move.

Carpenter’s last local concert was at Benchmark International Arena, where she was on her “Short and Sweet” tour. Many Academy girls that attended this concert have also listened and formed opinions on Carpenter’s most recent album.
