Boba tea has become a popular drink in Tampa, as many different places offer several kinds of the tea. The drink gained popularity in 1980s Taiwan and then spread all over the world. There are a few different types of boba tea, milk tea, fruit tea, and even punch. In some places, there are cheese and brown sugar teas as well. Here in Tampa, Sophomore Staff Writer Daegan Walker and Grace Carreja (23’) went to three of the most popular boba tea places to decide which had the best boba tea. They visited 35 Below, Kung Fu Tea, and Asian Kitchen.
