Robotics team captures another accolade in Boca Raton

AHN-Tiger Robotics has won their second Gracious Professionalism Award, this time at the South Florida Regional Rebound Rumble held the weekend of March 30 in Boca Raton. The team received this high honor at an earlier competition, so this award solidifies their status as a superb and commendable robotics squad.

Along with this win, sophomore Gabrielle Madden has been awarded a four-year scholarship worth $5000 per year to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach.  On hand at break on Wednesday, April 4, to congratulate Madden and her team were Assistant Principal Mr. Jack Mullarkey, AHN Robotic Moderator Mrs. Edna Swafford, and Principal Mrs. Camille Jowanna.

With ample opportunities for success, it is no wonder that the Tiger-Bots are popular at Academy and Jesuit. However, the team is still looking for new and enthusiastic minds to fuel them to victory, so anyone with an interest in science and robotics is encouraged to join the team. Go Tiger-Bots!
