Sophomore Tatanisha Chatman has been chosen as a youth delegate for the 28th National Conference on Preventing Crime in the Black Community, the largest conference of its kind in the country.
The conference this summer will be held on May 29-31, in Orlando. The Florida Consortium of Urban League Affiliates and Derrick Brooks Charities have joined Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi in presenting this year’s conference, with invitations going out to over 500 young men and women.
The conference is a collaborative effort to foster communication and action among practitioners through the sharing of innovative ideas and preventative strategy.
