Finding Peace in Election Uncertainty

November 7, 2020

Right now, we are in a time of uncertainty about the election. Many people are very stressed. This is just a reminder that no matter what happens, God is still in control and the most important person in this whole situation.

Honestly, I have been pretty impatient because I am scared and just want to know at this point. At this point, though, all we can do is take a step back, acknowledge that God is in control of this situation, and wait.

Be kind. We don’t all share the same views. Don’t attack each other on social media or face-to-face. Good, respectful conversations help us grow, but getting angry with each other only makes everything worse. Also, taking a break from social media may help. Seeing so many political posts can get tiring, and breaks can help with the stress and concern.

The best, most important thing to do right now is to pray. Many people are pledging to pray the rosary for our country at this time. Here’s my challenge: Join us. Pray a rosary for our country. It will take 15 minutes of your time and leave you with peace, which is ever so valuable right now.
