Senior Lindsay Hahn took the spotlight at the Spring Sports Banquet held in the Brady Center on Tuesday, May 10, at 6:30 p.m. Besides receiving the Three Varsity Sports Award, Hahn was also named Senior Athlete of the Year. Also receiving the Three Varsity Sports Award were Katie Martin, Alexandra Reichert and Natalie Hahn.
Prior to the announcement, each spring sports team celebrated individual sports awards for outstanding achievements in crew, softball, tennis, and track and field. Athletic Director Kevin Vargas congratulated the athletes on their performances this year and the following awards:
Crew : Aubrey McGuire (Coach’s Award), Sasha Dominguez (Jaguar Spirit Award) Natalie Yob (Most Improved Novice), Cailin Dunne (Most Improved Varsity Athlete) and Caitlin Vaka (MVP).
Softball :Katie Elliot (Coach’s Award) Caroline Sutton (Most Improved), Christina Lodato (Defensive MVP) and Ashton Hill (Offensive MVP).
Tennis : Caroline Lozo (Coach’s Award), Paige Leavy (Best Newcomer), Sarah Port (Most Improved) and Bianca Roberts (MVP).
Track & Field: Megan Ylagan (Jaguar Spirit Award), Ashley Orosco (MVP Thrower), Marisa Petric (MVP Distance Runner) and Ryann McEnany (MVP Sprinter).
