While ESPN focused on National Signing Day on Wednesday, February 6, Academy took time to celebrate the day with Caroline Sutton.
Sutton signed her commitment to play softball at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. Athletic Director Kevin Vargas arranged a brief celebration for her, her family, and a few friends at 2 pm.
On hand to congratulate her were friends Caitlin Herlihy, Miranda Reddick, Sophie Gonzalez, Ashton Hill, and Demi Curbelo.
Sutton looks forward to another successful softball season this year before heading off to Rhodes. Sutton also has been a key player on the Academy Soccer Team.
