Tuesday April 1st started the AHN tennis team’s journey to FHSAA Finals. The team headed to Auburndale for the district tournament on Monday afternoon. The next few days were filled with hard work, which paid off with the team’s advancement to the regional tournament.

Junior Sydney Sultenfuss was ecstatic to join her team at districts this year. “It was a great experience going to districts for the first time. I love my team and I can’t wait for next year!”

The first round of the regional tournament was rained out on Tuesday April 8th. The girls used the extra day to rest and were ready to take on Booker High School at HCC on Wednesday. After a 4-2 victory, the team battled Bayshore High School on April 10th. AHN advanced to the FHSAA finals after a 5-0 win.
