Alaina Salathe is a Senior Staff Writer for Achona, and this is her first year on staff. She is also excited to work on cartoons for Achona, particularly ones covering the student life at AHN.  Outside of school, Alaina spends time reading, creating works of art, and taking care of her baby brother. Alaina’s favorite subject is English and she is passionate about creative writing, because it allows them to express their creativity and immerse themselves into a whole new world of their own creation. A little known fact about Alaina is that she is hemophiliac, and has an abnormal amount of allergies. She awaits the day that she can enjoy eating tomatoes and chocolate safely. When she’s not working on school assignments, Alaina plays a variety of games ranging from Minecraft to the Sims 4, as well as creating new makeup looks and designing costumes. While working, she listens to Ghost’s rock music, musicals, and the Into the Spiderverse soundtrack. Alaina also has a love for Tony Stark, and her dog and cat.  This school year, she is excited for graduation and aspires to pursue marketing and animation at SCAD.
