Retreat only a memory now for exam-ready sophs

Time is precious now for the sophomore class with exams looming and deadlines finalizing.

No doubt sophs wish now for the more relaxed pace of school that they experienced  on November 9, when they took a day off for relaxation and reflection at their annual retreat, this year held at Mary Help of Christians.

Maggie Brekka thought the grassy setting and lake surrounding the Mary Help of Christians facility served as a delightful break from the stress and worries of high school. ” It gave many, or all, of the girls a chance to breathe and relax.”

Team games, lunchtime hanging out with friends, and watching Patch Adams together are  memories sophomores will share for a long time.

The picture features sophomores Bailey Boesch, Maddy Matter, Kiersten May, Claire Cardillo, Victoria Metzger, Julia Schifino, Olivia Diaz, and Lizzy Farley.
