73 Questions: Jefferson Scholarship Recipient Katie Taulbee

Senior Katie Taulbee recently broke ground for the Academy of the Holy Names: she received the Jefferson Scholarship from the University of Virginia for the first time in Academy history. The Jefferson Scholarship is awarded by “identifying, attracting, and nurturing individuals of extraordinary intellectual range and depth who possess the highest concomitant qualities of leadership, scholar¬≠ship, and citizenship.” Taulbee, one of around 36 scholars who received the award in a pool of over 2,000 nominees, will have her full cost of tuition covered by the University.
