Mental health is a topic that is often ignored in casual conversations; many find it easy to talk about physical health, yet do not feel the same way about mental health. About 1 in 5 teenagers in the United States suffer from a mental disorder severe enough to impact their daily activities. In this podcast episode, Junior Staff Writer Emara Saez and Sophomore Staff Writer Chloe Mintz hope to shed some light on this overlooked topic. Mental health can be difficult to talk about, so High School Personal Counselor Emily Pantelis (‘07) joined the staff writers to give some tips on how to approach the topic in a positive manner.
