Seniors retreat for the last time

March 31, 2022

On Thursday, March 31, the senior class went on retreat for the last time as a class. The retreat was held at Dayspring Retreat Center and was held from 8am to 10pm.

The theme was “Gratitude for our Past, Joy in our Present, and Hope for our Future.” Led by Patrick Phelan of the Mission and Ministry Department, the retreat was a day to prepare for the upcoming changes approaching in the lives of the seniors. Seniors participated in reflections on their relationships, worked towards farewells, and thought about how they will remain true to the person that they became at Academy once they go off to their respective colleges.

The day was filled with witness talks given by senior peer ministers, songs, outdoor games, art, group discussion, and Mass.
