Elise Favret is an Academy senior and first-year staffer for the Achona Newspaper.  As creative director of non-profit organization Cross Out-Cancer, she and other high school cross country runners raise money for pediatric cancer patients. Elise is the highschool varsity cross country captain and runs track and field. She spends most of her time working at Grain and Berry and attending track and field practice six days a week. With the little free time she has, Elise enjoys photography and watching Netflix shows The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, and New Girl . In her final year of highschool, Elise is most looking forward to end of the year senior activities, especially the senior scavenger hunt. As for colleges, she is considering Notre Dame, UNC Chapel Hill, or UF and plans to apply as a neuroscience major on either a pre-med or pre-vet track.
