The sisterhood as told by Parks and Recreation
The Academy of the Holy Names is known for many things such as their student’s dedication to academics and service, however the number one thing that sticks out is the sisterhood that develops throughout the four years spent in high school.
The sisterhood bond exhibited throughout Academy can be defined as an unbreakable bond, similar to the bond between Ann Perkins and Leslie Knope.
At first it may seem impossible to achieve, and all you want is for the rest of the student body to stop talking about it
After the first year of high school, you realize the dramatic change happening in your grade, and that change is the development of the sisterly bond.
You notice it most when your grade coordinates costumes so well that you dominate spirit
week.
Or all the times you join together to sing the best throwback songs
Amy Li’s quote, “Having a sister is like having a best friend you can’t get rid of. You know whatever you do, they’ll still be there.” is taken to a very literal sense.
When senior year comes around, it comes time to depart from the people you love most.
And although it may seem impossible to leave them,
Remember that your sisters are a phone call or a car ride away.
Always remember the motto of the sisterhood,
