Cross Country States 2019 (VIDEO)

On the Friday Nov. 9, the Cross Country team left school to travel to Tallahassee, Florida to participate in the state meet on Florida State University’s campus. Individually, Megan Hughes (’20) placed 6th in the 2A Girls state race, seconds away from her personal and school record. The team, composed of seniors Hughes, Sarah Gonzalez, and Alexa Fredericks, juniors Madeline Rodriguez and Rachael Petrarca, freshman Hannah Laurence-Vijay, and seventh-grader Ryann McLeod, finished 17th in the 2A Girls race. Below is a short compilation of clips taken from the 2019 Cross Country state meet, encompassing the unity of the team and the success of a strong finish to the season.
