On Monday February 24, members of the POWER club led the high school in a Black History Month convocation, bringing awareness to Black culture through achievements, dance, and music.
Maddie Kant ('25) said, "I think it is crucial to have a club like POWER to help create a more empathetic community. POWER’s goal is to educate the girls at Academy not only about their surrounding environment, but others’ real life experiences and struggles."
