Netflix offers more that 13,300 titles all around the world.

Academy girls tend to unwind after a long day by watching Netflix. There is a source of happiness in finding a show, getting hooked on it, and binge watching the entire series, getting introduced to new characters, new plots, and new genres. Netflix has a wide selection of shows of all different genres ready to satisfy TV show needs. Many of them have been seen and talked about, but there are also those that have been overlooked. Here is a list of underrated Netflix shows that are worth the watch:

  1. Drop Dead Diva

When a model dies and is reincarnated as a plus-sized lawyer, she must adjust to her new life. This new lawyer hopes to find her inner beauty in her second chance at life.  Drop Dead Diva has six seasons in total and is rated 4.5 stars out of 5 by viewers.

  1. Charmed

This show follows the lives of three sisters who discover that they have supernatural powers. They are to use these supernatural powers to battle with the forces of evil. They are charmed. Charmed stars Holly Marie Combs as Piper Halliwell, who people now might better recognize as Ella Montgomery, Aria’s mother on Pretty Little Liars.

  1. Ghost Whisperer

Melinda Gordon is a newlywed woman who can speak to the recently deceased. She helps the dead finish business on Earth and help their relatives communicate with them. With Melinda’s help the earthbound deceased cross over to the other side. Ghost Whisperer first aired on TV in 2005 and ended in 2010 with it’s fifth season.

     4. Royal Pains

When Dr. Hank Lawson is unfairly dismissed from his job at a hospital, he becomes a concierge doctor in the Hamptons for the wealthy. This brilliant doctor is ready to stitch up the problems of the elite. Royal Pains has eight seasons and the USA Network just aired the final season in the summer of 2016.

  1. Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23

June, a midwestern girl from a small town, gets stuck with Chloe, a New Yorker who loves to party, as a roommate. June is hired for a job in Manhattan, but when the company collapses she is broke and homeless. Chloe takes her in, but constantly troubles June as she attempts to get her life back together.

     6.Witches of East End

Joanna Beauchamp lives in the town of East End where she is hiding a secret from her daughters. Her secret? They are a family of immortal witches. A series of occurrences soon forces Joanna to tell her daughters this family secret. After learning this their lives in their small town will never be the same.

  1.  Damages

Patty Hewes is a high stakes litigator in New York City.  She and her protege, Ellen Parsons, get caught up in many corrupt cases and murders. Each season of this legal thriller captures a major case that Hewes and her team take on. This crime drama has five seasons available on Netflix.

  1. Good Witch

Based on the TV movie, The Good Witch, this series follows Cassie Nightingale, a sorceress, and her teenage daughter, Grace. When the recently divorced Dr. Sam Radford moves in next door with his son, they are drawn to the Nightingales. There is currently only one season available on Netflix, but the show has been renewed for a third season on the Hallmark Channel.

  1. Twisted

When Danny Desai is released from his five- year juvenile detention sentence, he returns to a hometown which is not recognizable to him. His childhood best friends, Jo and Lacey, no longer speak to each other. Danny has many secrets that he cannot reveal and when someone is found dead in town, Danny is named prime suspect. Jo and Lacey have to make a decision as to whether or not they believe Danny committed the crime.

  1. Man of the House

When five cheerleaders witness a murder they are placed under the protection of Texas Ranger Roland Sharp. Sharp must let these five girls into his home and go undercover as their college cheerleading coach in order to keep them safe. This movie is just over an hour and a half long and features Tommy Lee Jones as Roland Sharp.
