Junior and Senior girls and their dates danced the night away  at Prom on Saturday evening, May 5.  The “Arabian Nights” theme and the setting of Busch Gardens made for an unforgettable night. A malfunctioning smoke alarm only added to the surprise effect of the other-world atmosphere.

Arriving couples walked up the steps of the Crown Colony House Restaurant  to be greeted by  faculty chaperones, including Moderator Mrs. Beth Chase, AHN President Mr. Art Raimo, Principal Mrs. Camille Jowanna, Assistant Principal Mr. Jack Mullarkey, Sr. Mary Patricia Plumb, Ginger Liston, Sharon West, Sister Ann Regan and Sister Mary Glavin.  With the effect of smoke, lights, and music, the setting held true to its theme.

Junior Caroline De Quesada said,  “It was certainly the most memorable dance I have been to so far. I had a lot of fun, and I cannot wait to experience Prom as a senior with my AHN sisters next year.”

As is tradition, the Echoes yearbook staff presented its Outstanding Notables as voted on by their fellow seniors. Allie Babin was crowned Prom Queen with Alyssa Duet and Brynn Wiley as princesses. The following  seniors won notable awards:

Most Athletic – Amanda McWilliams

Most Sincere – Emily Joseph

Most School Spirit – Vickie Sierra

Most Likely to Succeed – Mary Green

Most Talented – Jackie Henderson

Most Witty – Cassidy Morrison

Best Personality – Jackie Moreda

Best All Around – Cristina Gomez
