Academy students showed their Catholic School spirit on Tuesday, January 31, when they shared their time and talents throughout the community. Academy girls rode buses to different organizations to spend a few hours assisting in whatever needed to be done. From sorting out canned foods to playing with special needs children, the girls spent a great time helping out and experiencing new things. Once finished, the exhausted students came back to Academy to eat a much needed lunch and reflect on the day. The afternoon drew to a close with a speaker from Catholic Charities. She talked to the school about volunteering opportunities in the community. Everyone enjoyed the day bonding and helping out around Tampa.
