For the second consecutive season the Academy golf team has earned the title of 1A-Region 3 champions. Individually, Emmy Martin shot a 74 and earned the title of Region champion with Mariah Diaz finishing as Region runner-up with a round of 75.

The team advances to next week’s state championship which will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at Mission Inn Resort and Club, located just north of Orlando.

Just one week ago, the team captured the 1A-District 14 Championship.  Individually, junior Emmy Martin earned the title of District Champion shooting even par over the 18-hole tournament. Additionally, four AHN golfers finished in the top six. Below is a list of scores from this afternoon:
