AHN Soccer Team kicks off new season

With a new coach, Kareem Escayg, only coming in just one year ago, Academy soccer has started off with a bang!

Junior Allie Reichert is excited about this years’ season. “The new incoming freshman have proven to be a great addition to our team. We love their competitive spirit and amazing skills.”

Starting off her season strong, freshman Julia Lester has scored over seven goals in only three games. In addition, game after game, star midfield player Gabriela Tramuante has made vital connections out on the field resulting in goals for the AHN team.

Kicking off the season, the current record of the AHN team is 3-2. Last Thursday, November 8, the team traveled to St. Pete to play one of their toughest rivals. The game was intense, but Academy came out with the big W. Additionally, for the first time in Academy soccer history, the team came out on the other side of mercy rule, dominating over Academy of the Lakes last Tuesday.
