Thirteen AHN state swimmers received a rousing send-off during lunch on Wednesday, November 7, as they prepared to leave for States. Qualifying for the high-level competition are seniors Tori Litschgi, Bella Cogdill, Emily Pollock, and Alex Diaz; juniors Clare Fleming, Margaret Shumake, Shae Timmons, and Kristen Dawson; and sophmores Olivia Kirkpatrick, Julia Cogdill, Alex Nuyianes, Coleen Driscoll, and Konnor Brewer.
Sponsored by Golden Girls, AHN Spirit Club, the send-off recognized the thirteen qualifiers for their excellent season so far. Club president and swim team member Tori Litschgi handed out oversized inner-tubes with encouraging quotes to the thirteen swimmers headed for states.
The State Swim Meet takes place on Thursday, November 8, at the YMCA pool in Orlando.
