The Academy Swim Team Triumphs Over Steinbrenner

On Tuesday, August 31, the Academy Swim and Dive team commenced their 2021-22 competitive season with a meet against local public high school Steinbrenner. The team acquired 107 points to the 76 of their opponent, and of their twelve events, the Academy placed first in nine. Below is a series of photographs taken by editor-in-chief Chloe Mintz capturing the event.
There are six types of dives and four positions a diver may choose from when competing. Kinsley Link ('23) competes a twisting dive on the 1-meter springboard.
