Ali Ibanez, Senior Staff Writer
Ali Ibanez, Senior Staff Writer, is a second year journalist on Achona. Ibanez is also Student Council President and an Ambassador. Ibanez plays soccer for AHN and is the team manager of the team. Ibanez also works at St. John’s as an after-school coordinator. Ibanez’s favorite subject is history, and she is in three different social studies classes as of her senior year. She is very passionate about making a difference for Academy as well as making sure the student body is heard. Ibanez is excited for all the senior festivities like Silver Coffee and the Senior Farewell, as well as Graduation. In her free time, Ibanez likes to hang out with friends, go to the beach and spend time with her family. She is a big TV person, specifically all reality, but any genre that’s on the TV, she will sit down and watch. She hopes to attend the University of Central Florida with a major in journalism. She is very open to a lot of different schools but staying in Florida is the main goal she has set for herself when it comes to finding a college. Ibanez is so thrilled for her second year on Achona as an official Senior Staff Writer, and she is looking forward to writing about all things Academy and pop culture related for the upcoming year.
