Honors Journalism students found out that creating a stop-motion video project was a lot more time-consuming than they realized.
The video to be aired on the December 12 morning show at Academy required six hours in the Academy Archive Room posing the Academy dolls in sync with a Christmas story created by the group.
Photo Editor Brynn Wiley braved the heat of the Archive Room and the stop-action demand of photography to dress up and pose for 60 Santa photos. Overall the project required 800 carefully choreographed photographs.
