After a three-day, pre-school marathon of a delicious back-to-school breakfast for faculty and two orientation days, the 2011-12 Student Council once again outdid itself, this time on the first week of school when it pulled off the first flash mob in Academy history.
After one brave Council representative jumped up and began to sing the favorite “Peel the Banana, ” the rest of the group joined in, surprising the underclassmen eating lunch in the Brady Center.
With stunts like these, it is no wonder that Student Council has been so successful in uniting the student body in recent years. Assistant Principal Mr. Jack Mullarkey was so impressed that he agreed to create and narrate the audio portion of the official video recording of this Academy first.
