On November 3, the Academy of the Holy Names swim and dive team won the 2A state championships, making them back-to-back champions. Coming off an impressive performance last year, claiming the state title, the Jags had much to live up to, and they most certainly did. Not only did they win the state title, but their win made them the first-ever Hillsborough County girls’ team in any sport to win a back-to-back state championship.
