Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj’s Recent Feud

In the world of hip-hop and celebrities, disputes between artists are not unusual. Recently, Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj have been beefing online about each other and their music. The disagreement started back in 2021 when Nicki Minaj liked a tweet that attacked Megan’s advertising for a specific song at the time. Megan Thee Stallion then made a response on Instagram Live.

The dispute got more intense when Nicki released a new song titled “Fractions” in 2021 which many people believed to be a direct insult to Megan. In the song, Nicki raps about a “fraudulent” friend who she cannot trust and how she is “the one they all fear”. Fans of Megan speculated that Nicki was referring to her.

Megan then took to Twitter to address the situation, stating that she was not going to participate in a public feud with Nicki. She also clarified that she had spoken with Nicki privately and had no ill feelings towards her. Nothing else happened between them until very recently.

A few days ago, Megan the Stallion released a new song called “Hiss”, talking about how she is done with people using her name for attention and critics trying to bring her down. In response, Nicki made a distrack called “Bigfoot” which targets Megan and past situations that involve her and a shooting incident involving her ex-boyfriend, Tory Lanez. Many fans have taken sides and expressed their opinions on the matter publicly, and others believe it is merely a publicity stunt to generate more attention for their music and sales.

With the attention-grabbing headlines, media outlets and social media have exaggerated the feuds. Neither party has made an official statement. Both Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj are talented artists who have made significant contributions to the world of hip-hop. It is perhaps best to support and uplift female artists in a male-dominated industry, rather than pit them against each other.
