Cassidy Forte, Junior Staff Writer
Cassidy Forte is enjoying her first year in Journalism as a Junior Staff Writer. Cassidy is a very talented dancer and she enjoys jazz, acro, hip-hop, and ballet. She dances for the AHN Jaguarettes and for the On the Edge studio. This summer, she hopes to train with Kaos to improve her hip-hop abilities and train with some of the best dancers in the United States. Cassidy says that dance is her safe space, where she is the most confident, and is a great way for her to meet new people. In her free time, Cassidy enjoys listening to Beyonce. Dangerously in Love is her favorite song by the artist, and she was ecstatic when it was played at the Beyonce concert over the summer, which she attended. But if there was one thing Cassidy could not live without, it would be the Rare Beauty Concealer from Sephora. She said the concealer has great coverage but feels very light on the skin and is able to make her look more awake in the mornings. At Academy, US History is Cassidy’s favorite class because she enjoys learning about how America was shaped to be as it is today. Later in the school year, she is looking forward to Spike and Splash and Junior Ring. After AHN, Cassidy would like to pursue nursing or psychology at Howard University in Washington, D.C.
