6. Read
If reading is an activity you enjoy, bring a book for your car ride. Senior, Isabella Alfonso, says “I wish I could bring my books on road trips because there is so much free time, but I get car sick when I read in the car.” If you aren’t currently reading a book and are searching for one to read, check out this list of the 100 best ever teen novels.
7. Word Games (i.e. crossword puzzles, word searches, mad libs)
Crossword puzzles, word searches, mad libs, and other word games prove the perfect change of pace for any car ride. They can be done solo or with the whole car.
8. Homework
Though doing homework is something everyone hates, a long car ride is the perfect time to do work. No one likes to spend their free time doing their homework, so it might as well be done when you are forced to be in the car for an extensive period of time. Doing your homework will also help you in the long run.
