Many people think the phrase “xmas” takes the religious aspect of the holiday away, but really the X is the Greek letter Chi taken from the church, making the term as every bit as religious as “Christmas.”

Christmas is a season filled with the preparation for Jesus’ birth and Orthodox traditions. Most people have their plan for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day set in stone based off previous years, but others are just beginning theirs which will last for many years to come. Watch as some of our sisters around campus share their favorite prayers and traditions around Christmas time!
